It comes as no surprise to many that before the 1990’s when you heard of bollywood news it was usually only found inside India or looked upon by the world as nothing but silly song and dance movies. But what transpired in the last 18 or so years has brought not only this film industry into stardom but many actors as well.

And while this was not possible twenty years ago it is now considered the norm rather than the exception. And while some say it is a fluke others that know better can tell you it is because all that is bollywood masala is something that has already proven the tests of time.
Since 1931 the Hindu cinema has been all about song and dance. And while even Hollywood had a brief period like this, the Hindu film industry has managed to keep it popular for all these years. But it was not until these films began taking on a more varied plot of stories that the talents of the actors and actresses began to really shine to the rest of the world. And this is why bollywood is such a household name now outside of the country.

But those that have witnessed both industry movies can tell you that it is more than a simple craze.
