Monday, July 27th, 2009

There are so many different ways that people look at dog training. You can use a positive reinforcement method, you can yell at your dog or you can even stoop so low to buy a shock collar for them. The first thing everyone should try is the positive reinforcement for dog training. There is no wrong way to go through this process. For example, the dog whines to go outside, you let the dog out and after he does his business you tell him what a good boy he is and had him a treat. Every dog is going to want to please you; its in there nature. You dont have to yell or physical abuse a dog to get them to do what you want. Carry a bag of treats around with you when you are trying to train your dog. This is a benefit to you and your dog and will also help him pay attention more.

You dont want to touch or try to pick up a frightened cat, that would be a mistake you will regret with painful cuts that will ensue when the cat starts to slice you with his claws both hands and feet.
