The world loves a good sports match. It allows us to follow a competitive game and become invested in the match which is happening. We can pick a favorite team and root for them all the way through the season, hoping that they come out on top. By the same token, we can pick an impressive player from any team and follow their career, watching how well they play and stack up against their competition. It allows us to watch someone with interest and support their rising success.
