The day-to-day stressful events also affect how your body responds to fighting the illnesses. Also stressful events that occur on a short-term basis can change the entire way of your immune systems responds temporarily. The responses from the immune system to short-term stresses can actually be very helpful in some cases, redistributing cells in a positive manner, thus to help your body to adapt as a quick-fix. Reasonably stressful events, however, can have a big damaging impact on your body’s immune system, also while traumatic and chronic stress can compromise your immune system’s ability to perform easily.
