Losing Ink On Your UL Approved Labels?

Have you ever printed UL approved labels with your standard barcode printer and noticed that the ink was rubbing off? Did your Information Technology Staff think something was wrong with your printer because of this? The printer was actually doing its job just fine. The real problem was that the ribbon you were using wasn't a UL approved resin ribbon. Certain Ribbon, just like certain labels, must be UL recognized because of their different applications.

Barcode Inventory Technologies for the 21st Century

The retail industry saw a revolution in automated data collection and management when the barcode was invented in 1952 by Bernard Silver and Joseph Woodland. Barcode inventory is basically a system that uses a series of parallel lines with varying widths and thicknesses, which each represent the binary numbers 0 and 1. A barcode scanner is used to read the sequence, which starts from 0 to 9, and the sequence is then translated into information including price and product description using a computer.

CCNP or Cisco Certified Network Professional is a proof of skills and knowledge required to troubleshoot, install and configure wide and local area network for enterprise organizations with a 500 or more nodes. Cisco certified network professional is an intermediate-level of certification for IT experts. This level of certification is given to an individual with the skills needed in the computer networking. This certification has the Cisco Certified Associate (CCNA) as a prerequisite. The CCNA certification only covers only the overview of the Cisco technology however, the Cisco certified network professional track is a more extensive learning of the Cisco technology. In addition, the Cisco certified network professional path is a prerequisite in achieving the CCIE certification also known as Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert.
