The first round of nominations for the 2009 CMT Music Awards was announced on Monday April 13. The duo Sugarland earned an incredible six nominations for their country music contributions. Brad Paisley and Taylor Swift each earned four nods for their work. Fans can now go to the CMT website to vote through May 11 to help determine the final nominees, which will then be announced on May 19.
